Ted Halstead is a Think Tank executive as well as an author. His areas of specialty are environment, economics and energy and he has authored several articles and books on these subjects.

Halstead earned his Bachelor's from Dartmouth in 1990[2] and his MPA in 1998 from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.[3]

Think Tanks

New America Foundation

New America Foundation began life as Vision Trust. Bill Moyers, president of the Florence and John Schuman Foundation, funded the trust with a seed of $200,000, on the condition that Halstead change the name.[2]

Halstead co-wrote The Radical Center: The Future of American Politics with Michael Lind in 2002.
